Introducing UNLV Opera's new Music Director and Conductor, Maestro Dennis Doubin!

He began his operatic career in Moscow, Russia as a member of the Bolshoi Opera children's choir and later studied at the Moscow Choral Academy. In the US, Doubin was a student of the late pianist Vitaly Margulis and matriculated at UCLA. Maestro Doubin is a graduate of the Merola and Adler programs at San Francisco Opera and participated in over 50 productions as a member of their music staff. Further professional engagements include Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Seattle Opera, San Diego Opera, Opera San Jose and others. Currently, Maestro Doubin also serves as music director of Vegas City Opera. A sought-after coach, Maestro Doubin collaborates with established operatic luminaries as well as promising vocalists.
