The PRSA Code of Ethics helps guide communicators in making responsible, ethical decisions and building trust with the audiences we serve.
In honor of Ethics Month, the PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter is highlighting the six core values of the Code, breaking down what each means and what it looks like in practice.
Next up is Honesty.
Honesty means adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and truth when advancing the interests of those we represent and in communicating with the public.
What does that look like in practice? It means being transparent, avoiding false, misleading or incomplete information and acknowledging and correcting inaccuracies when and if they’re discovered.
Follow along as we continue exploring all six core values throughout September or visit the link in our bio to read the full Code.
