Our Bearcat family is forming an even stronger bond! For the coming fall semester, we are giving freshmen an opportunity to engage directly with alumni working in their field of interest.

Once a pairing is made, students will schedule a 30-40 minute professional conversation before going on to complete a research project on an issue relevant to the field. Students will have a guided opportunity to explore careers and career pathways early on in their college education while developing academic and professional skills.

As one of the oldest continuously operating gristmills in the country, the Saint Vincent Gristmill stands as a testament to the craftsmanship, tradition, and Benedictine heritage that continue to shape our campus today. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share this story with our community near and far.

Big things are coming to campus!

If you missed our preview, KDKA’s Daisy Jade got an exclusive first look inside the new Dunlap Family Athletic and Recreation Center ahead of its opening later this month. From fitness and wellness spaces to courts, turf, and community gathering areas, the Dunlap Center is set to become a transformational addition to campus life.

Fred stamps are back. We repeat: FRED STAMPS ARE BACK! Thanks to the USPS, you will once again be able to share a message with your neighbor, with the face of Mr. Rogers helping it get there.

There are over 40,000 submissions to be considered for stamps each year, so being chosen not once (in 2018), but twice (2026) really shows the impact that Fred was able to make on the entire world. All of this while growing up right here in Latrobe.

Be sure to grab your stamps before they disappear again! Thanks to the Fred Rogers Institute for helping to spread his message and make this possible! ✉️

🚴‍♂️ Bearcat alumni and friends hit the road right after graduation for a 360-mile journey all the way from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., in support of Saint Vincent College’s Students First Fund.

From May 9–16, riders biked alongside Dr. Jeff Mallory, C’06, G’13, and Dr. Greg Bisignani to help create opportunities for Saint Vincent students while also making some new memories for themselves. Every mile made a difference, and every gift moved the mission forward. 💚 💛
