The Wagner Lab spent the summer at ARDEC at Colorado State University, researching corn hybrids that grow at less than standard doses of fertilizer.

The Undergraduate Biology Program offers free monthly coffee hours with faculty members, called Coffee & Chromosomes. Our first Coffee & Chromosomes is Tuesday, September 8, from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. Stop by to learn about faculty research projects, learn about campus events, and get to know your professors!

Our guests will be Drs. Scott Hefty and Trevor Rivers, who both lead study abroad programs specifically for biology majors

Trevor Rivers and Julie Campbell were awarded the Chris Haufler KU Core 34 Award at KU's Annual Teaching Summit for the innovation and transformation they've brought to the introductory biology courses, BIOL 154 (Campbell) and BIOL 100 (Rivers).

“While BIOL 154 is a relatively new course, it's one I'm immensely proud of. The course reflects ideas, insights, and inspiration I've gained from countless TAs, students, faculty, and staff over the years.
