KU Sigma Psi Zeta - Alpha Mu Chapter Sigma Psi Zeta is a multicultural progressive Greek organization. We are a cultural, social, educational, and community-service oriented sorority.

Sigma Psi Zeta is a progressive multicultural Greek organization. Sigma Psi Zeta was founded on March 23, 1994 and incorporated on March 15, 1996. We are recognized under the laws of the state of New York. Like the 10 founders, the 10 Rays of Sisterhood form the basis of our sorority. They are characteristics all sisters work to best exemplify: integrity, legacy, scholarship, philanthropy, professionalism, community, sisterhood, culture, citizenship, activism.

Year: Junior
Major: Human Biology and Microbiology
Advice to PNMs: One piece of advice I’d give to pnms would be to not be scared to come to recruitment events even if you have no one to come with! I remember being really nervous going to my first one because I didn’t know anyone else going but all of the SYZters were super warm and welcoming and made me feel right at home!

Advice to PNMs: My advice to PNMs would be to be yourself. I remember being nervous attending recruitment events and wondering if I would be a good fit for SYZ. However, our SYZterhood is not a mold you have to fit into. Our differences are what make our community special, and I’ve had such a great time meeting and getting to know SYZters!
