International Peer Support

International Peer Support International Peer Support (IPS) is a student organization that functions as a resource center and connector for international students in KU.

International Peer Support is an one-stop resource center, located at University of Kansas Lawrence campus, for international students using their mother languages. We provide information and help in the student’s native language—think KU Info but in different languages. Our goal is to overcome the language barrier for international students who might have difficulty in English, so that they can a

ccess to campus resources as easily as other students. IPS offers such services as: Online Interpreter service for students, staff and faculty by appointment. • Translation service for students, staff, and faculty by request. • Emotional support service for students by appointment.

Hey everyone!

Do you speak more than one language? Are you interested in volunteering at the comfort of your home? Are you interested in making a positive difference by eliminating language barriers?

If you answered yes to any of the questions, we have a perfect opportunity for you!

Tarjimly is a free service that connects people who speak one language but need to speak in another, with a person who speaks both — in just a couple of minutes.

Using the Tarjimly mobile app, volunteers can remotely provide translation and interpretation services to people worldwide.
