Undergraduate Business Council (UBC)

The Undergraduate Business Council at the University of Kansas seeks to be a dynamic student government organization driven to improve student life by fostering a more complete co-curricular experience within the School of Business. We achieve our goal by supporting recognized clubs, as well as organizing community-building social traditions and initiatives. We strive to foster a culture in which every single student feels at home in Capitol Federal Hall: included, supported, heard.

🤝You can earn 50 business professionalism points and the sustainability badge by going to the panel event and either 2 field trips or the case competition.

Felix Meschke, Director of the Davis Center for Figure Sense, will discuss the skills and attitudes you need to hone your figure sense. A Figure Sense attitude embodies a curious, critical, and ethical approach to data, emphasizing meticulous analysis, open-minded learning, and clear communication of insights for informed decision-making. Figure Sense skills help you identify, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions. We'll explore why Figure Sense is increasingly important, how to develop it, and how to apply it in your organization.

Prof. Meschke is seeking ideas and advice from students on this topic, so please share your thoughts!
