KU Medical Center will receive $5 million from the state to build the Kansas Brain Health Assessment Network. 🧠 Thanks to the program, primary care practices across Kansas will have specialist-level dementia diagnostic capabilities. https://bit.ly/4f0ZnmU

Based at KU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, the network aims to increase early diagnoses of dementia and improve care across the state.

Congrats to KU’s 2026 Barry Goldwater scholars. 👏 These three juniors were chosen for their outstanding academic records, significant research experience, and potential to contribute to the fields of mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering.

The University of Kansas has three juniors who were selected to receive the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship out of more than 1,000 nominees nationwide. KU’s 2026 Barry M. Goldwater Scholars are Tatum Aikin, Arthur Benson and Carter Gray.
