Hi Spirit Alumni,
We are honored to have you join us this Friday, August 29, for the Spirit Alumni Tailgate and Halftime Recognition at the Kansas vs. Wagner football game. In preparation for this exciting day, please review the important details below.

📍Location: The Hill – Tent #7

👕Attire: Jayhawk Game Day Spirit Wear

Timeline:
4:30 PM | Tailgate Opens
✅ Check-In: Upon arrival at Tent #7, please stop by the K Club check-in table. Alumni will receive nametag, alumni t-shirt (if purchased), and pom poms. A limited number of shirts may be available for $25 at the tailgate.

🏈 6:30 PM | Kickoff

📣Halftime | On-field Alumni Recognition
- Alumni will meet in the NE Endzone with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. You’ll line up on the field to wave during the recognition. 🚨Make sure you have your game ticket and mention you are here for the halftime walk‼️

Additional Info:
🍔Joint Tailgate: This will be a combined celebration with current Spirit Squad families – a great opportunity to reconnect! Food & Drink: Chick-fil-A catering trays and drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own beverages or snacks to share.

🅿️ Parking is on your own. Please see the attached Parking Map for suggested lots and walking routes. Plan for traffic delays due to gameday road closures.

Stadium Bag Policy: Clear bag policy will be enforced at the stadium.

We’re excited to officially invite you to the Spirit Squad Alumni Tailgate on Friday, August 29, 2025 ahead of the KU vs. Wagner football game.

Join fellow Spirit Squad alumni and current KU Spirit families on The Hill to reconnect, celebrate, and show your Jayhawk pride before kickoff.

🏈In-game, be sure to stick around as we are planning to have the alumni walk the field at the reimagined David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium at halftime!

Tailgate Location: The Hill
Date: Friday, August 29, 2025
Time: 4:30 PM (tailgate begins 2 hours before the 6:30 PM kickoff)
