On May 7th, we completed our final PT, a motto run. This concludes one of our last battalion events this semester.

Today marked our CO’s final PT and our graduating seniors’ last event with the battalion. Thank you for the leadership, mentorship, and example you set for every midshipman in this unit. Everyone's impact will carry on long after graduation and commissioning.

Throughout the run, members of the battalion stepped up to lead cadence, showing the motivation, confidence, and teamwork that define KU NROTC.

Proud of everything this battalion accomplished this semester. Finish strong, enjoy summer training, and come back ready to raise the standard even higher.

The Jayhawk Battalion was thrilled to welcome guest speaker CDR Turner for taking the time to speak with us during lab last week.

CDR Turner was the former Commanding Officer of VQ-4 and an NFO on the E-6B. He shared valuable insights on leadership, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing education, stepping outside your comfort zone, and continuously challenging yourself to grow both personally and professionally.

His experiences and perspective reinforced the standards expected of future Navy and Marine officers and the mindset required to lead effectively in complex environments.

We appreciate the time and mentorship provided to our battalion! Rock Chalk!
