Thank you to our incredible speakers Justin Hurd and Maribeth Knueve from Marten Transport for coming to the Supply Chain Club Speaker Event. We learned so much about the company and we've gained a better understanding of Marten Transport specializes in Create postlong-haul truckload services, with a particular focus on transporting temperature-sensitive and dry goods. Marten operates a modern fleet of trucks equipped with refrigerated trailers for precise temperature control. In addition to transportation, Marten offers logistics and supply chain solutions, including warehousing, distribution, and dedicated services. Marten prioritizes safety and compliance, employs advanced technology for tracking and route optimization, and has a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. We're grateful for the knowledge you've shared!

The GGC ASCM club will have its first on-site visit this year! We will be visiting WIKA to see how they manage their operations. Visibility around carrier capacity and the ability to secure trucks to cover loads is becoming more of a challenge through the second half of 2020. The United States is experiencing carrier tender rejection rates not seen since 2018.
