IBRS Represents CoP at RAPS Convergence 2024 👏
Earlier this semester, the College’s International Biomedical Regulatory Sciences (IBRS) program had a major presence at the 2024 RAPS (Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society) Convergence event in Long Beach, California. RAPS is the professional organization for regulatory professionals. Dr. Grace Gowda, Director of IBRS, attended the conference to exhibit the College’s program and participate as speaker in a panel discussion on “Progress Towards Unlocking Opportunities for Entry-Level Positions in Regulatory Affairs.” Her presentation was a complement to a paper recently published in RF focus that she co-authored. Along with Dr. Gowda, three IBRS student attended, including Latifat Giwa and Myddelton Parker, who served as ambassadors, and Lynda Dzeitchie. The students were able to participate because they received travel awards from RAPS and other organizations.

At a pre-meeting session, Dr. Gowda moderated a panel discussion with RAPS board members as part of the Association of Graduate Regulatory Educators (AGRE) annual summit at the University of Southern California. Dr. Gowda is treasurer of the AGRE board and has previously served as president and vice president.

Thanks for representing the UGA College of Pharmacy, IBRS!
