Congratulations Class 38!!!

05/08/2026

Today, we celebrate the incredible students of Class 38 as they officially cross the finish line of one chapter and step into the next as future radiologic technologists.

Over the last 22 months, this group has endured early mornings, long clinical days, exams that tested not only knowledge but confidence, and moments that pushed them far outside their comfort zones. They learned how to position patients, master technical skills, think critically under pressure, and most importantly, care for people during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Graduation is not just the end of a program. It is the beginning of a profession that will ask you to continue learning, adapting, and serving others every single day. And if these last two years are any indication, this class is more than ready.

To Class 38:
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Thank you for the laughter, the memories, the hard work, and even the chaos. You have left your mark on this program, and we could not be more proud of the professionals you are becoming.

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating our senior class at Grad Night- a well deserved evening to pause, reflect, and recognize just how much this group has accomplished.

These students have spent the last two years showing up early, staying late, pushing through challenges and growing into the future radiologic technologists they were always capable of becoming. What started out as a group of students has become a class of professionals and it has been a privilege to watch that transformation take shape.

They are so close to the finish line and this season is one worth slowing down to appreciate! We’re not done celebrating just yet, as we put the finishing touches on this class and head towards commencement there are still more moments to share. So, consider this your warning more senior posts are coming!

It takes a village to get a senior class across the finish line, and ours has had a pretty great one.

As graduation gets closer, our seniors have been feeling the love from family, friends, faculty, and clinical instructors cheering them on through the final stretch of comps, registry prep, and job hunting. The support, encouragement, snacks, and steady reminders that they’ve got this have meant more than you know.

A special shoutout to the thoughtful surprise goodies that made their way to the class this week. Safe to say the goody bags were a hit!

A huge THANK YOU to our Advisory Committee for taking the time to meet with us! Your continued involvement, feedback, and industry insight play a critical role in helping us keep our program current and aligned with the needs of today’s imaging departments.

Because of conversations like these—identifying what skills, technology, and experiences our students need—we’re able to make meaningful improvements to our program.

One of our most recent improvements is a new portable X-ray machine! This equipment is a direct reflection of our commitment to staying up-to-date and giving our students hands-on experience with the tools they’ll see in the field.

Spring break is over... and it's officially MOCKS season!

Our 2nd year students have entered THE most intense stretch of the program. We are talking two years of knowledge, pulled together, on demand, under pressure. BIG brain energy only!

Family, Friends and Alumni- This is where you come in:
Be Patient
Be Supportive
Be Understanding

They are carrying a heavy mental load right now, and your support truly makes a difference.

Class 38, We see you, we are proud of you, and yes... this is a lot. But you have been building toward this moment all along and you are going to rock it!

Let the mocks begin!

Our students had a great time at the Wilhelm’s Trivia Bowl 2026!

This annual event brings together radiography students from programs across the state for a fast-paced trivia style competition. It is designed to review our future imaging professionals for the registry. This was a great opportunity as our seniors prepare to take this national certification exam in May.

We are proud of our students for showing up, thinking fast and representing our program well!

X-ray isn’t always within the four walls of a hospital or imaging center. Sometimes, it pulls up In your driveway!

Today our second-year students had the opportunity to hear from the Sooner Mobile X-ray, Inc. team. Our students learned about the day-to-day workflow, the independence required in mobile imaging, and the unique patient care skills it takes to work outside the four walls of a hospital. It opened their eyes to career paths that are flexible, meaningful, and deeply rooted in service.

To the Sooner Mobile X-Ray team — thank you for investing in our students and showing them what compassionate, community-based imaging looks like in action. We are grateful for your time, your insight, and your willingness to pour into the next generation of technologists.
