The Bearcats have already accomplished something no McKendree softball team has done before, and now they’ll compete for a national title.

A historic weekend for Bearcat Softball. 🎉

For the first time ever, McKendree has been crowned NCAA Regional Champions after an incredible run through the Midwest Regional hosted right here in Lebanon.

The championship marks a major milestone for the program and reflects the hard work, determination, and resilience of this team all season long.

Last week, McKendree University celebrated the Class of 2026 across four commencement ceremonies filled with proud moments, happy tears, and unforgettable memories.

From crossing the stage to celebrating alongside classmates, teammates, faculty, family, and friends, this day honored the dedication and perseverance that brought our graduates here.
