๐Ÿ’š Today is the final day of Organ Donation Awareness Month, and it feels especially meaningful as we honor the life of 2 year old Wyatt Preston Miller, grandson of our own Wade Miller from the Wilson County Maintenance Department.
๐Ÿก Wyattโ€™s parents now live in Glasgow, Kentucky, but their roots run deep here in Wilson County. Many in our community know and love this family, and we want to lift them up during this incredibly difficult time.
๐Ÿ’” Wyatt tragically passed away on April 3rd. In their grief, his family made a remarkable and selfless choice through the gift of organ donation, a gift that has already saved three lives that we know of, including a 4 month old, a 5 month old, and a 30 year old.
๐ŸŒฑ Just this week, the Glasgow Police Department honored Wyatt with a tree planting ceremony, symbolizing a young life that continues to grow through the lives he saved.
(๐Ÿ“Ž article link in comments.)
๐Ÿค We invite our community to come together in support of the Miller family.
๐Ÿฐ Please join us on May 5th at 5:00 PM at the James E. Ward Ag Center (Fairgrounds) in the Q Barn for a Dessert Auction.
Every dollar raised will go directly to help the family with expenses.
๐Ÿ™ Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
