Carpentry Students in the Community! 🔨

SOWELA Carpentry students recently partnered with the Vernon Parish Police Jury to build a new stage at the Vernon Parish Fairgrounds — a project that will serve the community for years to come.

During MayFest, the stage was dedicated in honor of Joshua Petrillo’s life and legacy. We are grateful our students had the opportunity to contribute to a project that celebrates community, remembrance, and service.

We are proud to see our students applying their skills in meaningful ways beyond the classroom.
