Bates College is pleased to announce that Alexandra Hood has been recognized as a Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area (YPLAA) 40 Under 40 award recipient! Alexandra is the Operations Supervisor at The Olin Arts Center at Bates College. She will be recognized at the YPLAA 10th Anniversary Dinner & Official New Brand Launch Party on May 13 at the Kora Shriners Temple in Lewiston.

In addition to her role at Bates, Alexandra is an accomplished visual artist. Her work focuses on realistic oil paintings and graphite portraits. Alexandra frequently explores the subjects of lust, power, human connection, and emotional transparency in her work. Her pieces have been exhibited in shows throughout Maine, Upstate New York, and New York City. We are happy to have Alexandra at Bates!
