Last night, we were pleased to host Sustainability Future Leaders Club to host our Service Night!

We spent the hour making plastic bag mats to donate to the Hope Center for the unhoused community in Lexington. What an amazing and creative way to give back to the community and practice our servant leadership! 🌎

INTEREST SESSIONS #2 AND #3!!!

Last Friday, our Chief VP Caedmon Case (Caedmon Case | Chief VP - CDECA at University of Kentucky) hosted CDECA at UKY’s second Interest Session!! Yesterday, Chief VP Caedmon Case (Caedmon Case | Chief VP - CDECA at University of Kentucky), our VP of Leadership Will Brassine (Will Brassine), our VP of Career Development Nikaia Cornett (Nikaia Cornett🫧), and our VP of Marketing Carolina Keeton (Carolina Keeton | CDECA at UKY VP of Marketing) hosted CDECA at UKY’s third Interest Session!! We had such a fun time getting to know potential new members and sharing what CDECA is all about!

We’re kicking things off with a little activity: pitch us the WORST business idea you can think of! Yesterday, we heard everything from fart spray and moldy rugs to a service that smells your laundry and determines if it needs washed. Think you can top that?

INTEREST SESSION #1!!

Yesterday, our VP of Marketing, Carolina Keeton (Carolina Keeton | CDECA at UKY VP of Marketing), VP of Finance Heli Patel (Heli Patel ♡), and VP of Hospitality Angelica Victoria-Garcia (Angelica Victoria-Garcia) hosted CDECA at UKY’s first Interest Session!! We had such a fun time getting to know potential new members and sharing what CDECA is all about!

We’re kicking things off with a little activity: pitch us the WORST business idea you can think of! Yesterday, we heard everything from chatbots taking a rather long time to reply and casinos in hospitals to a skincare line that makes your skin break out and billionaires helping almost bankrupt businesses pay off debt. We had the BEST time kicking off the semester with everyone who joined us for Sip, Style, CDECA! From creating the perfect dirty soda 🥤to decorating tote bags 💼 and meeting so many new faces 😀, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year.

‼️ Thank you to everyone who stopped by, hung out with us, and learned a little more about Collegiate DECA at UKY! We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where this year takes us. 💙🤍💛
