📢 New Research Published! 📢

We’re proud to share that the Local Food is Medicine pilot program, developed in partnership with the University of Kentucky Food as Health Alliance and The Food Connection, has been published in Nutrients MDPI!

📝 “Developing a Community-Driven, Locally Sourced Medically Tailored Meal Model: A Pilot Linking Healthcare, Farmers, and Patients”

This paper highlights how this project connected healthcare providers, Kentucky farmers, and patients through medically tailored meals rooted in fresh, locally sourced food. It documents the impact of building a food as medicine model that is community-driven, research-backed, and farmer-supported.

We’re grateful to our partners, farmers, healthcare collaborators, and participants who made this work possible.
