👏 Congratulations, Dr. Price! The University of Kentucky has appointed Dr. Steven Price as the new Chair of the Forestry & Natural Resources Department at the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Dr. Price has been part of the department since 2012 and has served as acting chair since 2025. Known for his work in stream and riparian ecology, he’s dedicated to conserving Kentucky’s wildlife, waterways, and forest ecosystems.

Kentucky’s forests add nearly $20 billion to the state’s economy every year—showing just how vital these natural landscapes are to our communities.
