Many students attend college without a particular major in mind. Counselors are available to help students in the decision making process of selecting a career. There are ways to do accomplish this goal, we can help you clarify your values, interests, abilities and skills. Then help you gather information about the world of work. There are various forms of career assessment tools that are availabl

e. BCTC offers courses that are designed to help students with their career choices. We strive to motivate students and facilitate their vocational ingenuity. Our services are the bridge between academic achievement and lifelong success. The Office of Career Leadership also offers career counseling for students and alumni to assist each person in gaining self-awareness regarding goals and preferences, and to use that awareness in decision-making related to career and professional development. Individual appointments are available to provide assistance in setting career goals, to review majors and occupations that match interests and abilities, and to help students plan for and obtain career related experience prior to graduation.

In our office, we provide a number of services to students from talking with students about personal challenges that they may face in their lives, help with creating a resume, assisting students with deciding on a major, we strive to provide a place where students can overcome any type of barrier to their academic and personal success.
