UK Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering UK Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Our extensive laboratory (wet, dry, welding, machinery, etc.)

The Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering educates engineers who ensure that the world has clean water systems, adequate food production, and sustainable energy sources. We use a systems approach to problem-solving, and our students have the opportunity to learn in technology-rich hands-on environments, applying engineering theory to real-world problems. and field capacity is an as

Another set of heat shields, one carbon and two cork, was fabricated in Dr. Sama's lab for a re-entry experiment. They are scheduled to be sent to the International Space Station in early April. While the work was purely manufacturing-focused, it was still exciting to contribute to hardware that will go to space 🛰
