Cadets write, edit, and manage The Bomb, VMI's yearbook which chronicles events and experiences. The Bomb was first published in 1885 and has been published continuously since 1897. Cadets write, edit, and manage The Cadence, VMI's newspaper which is published weekly for the Corps of Cadets. It provides a summary of the week's events, a preview of upcoming events, and other articles concerning cadets. Editorials, features, columns, and cartoons give coverage of all aspects of cadet life.
