Feed the Children needs volunteers tomorrow: "We need 10 volunteers for Saturday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Volunteers will need to be at the Lexington Farmers Market by 10:45. Volunteer Opportunities (I can't because I'm working, but let me know if you do!):

Girls on the Run Central Kentucky is looking for help with their 5K Saturday from 7-11 a.m. at Commonwealth Stadium. Groups and individuals are welcome to sign up here and simply show up at the volunteer tent Saturday morning. For more information about Girls On The Run, visit their website or contact Emily Morris '03 at [email protected].

The Great American Clean-up is Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Living Arts and Sciences Center on Martin Luther King Boulevard. This event involves volunteers cleaning up neighborhoods by disposing of the trash on the streets. Hey Fuppers!

We will have our last volunteer day of the school year Saturday, May 12! The Carnegie Center needs us to come at 9:15 to help set up for their Mayfest book sale. This should only take 30 minutes. Then, we will head over to God's Pantry to throw out old baby formula and pack spaghetti. We'll grab lunch at some point. Then, we will head back to the Carnegie Center at 2:00 to tear down the tables and clean up after the sale. So please meet at 9:00 am in Front Lobby to walk over. We will be done at about 2:30! Wear old/gym clothes to work in!
