Reunion registration closes in two weeks!!

Join us this Septembr for our 2025 University of Kentucky Alumni Band Reunion Weekend in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13. Events are as follows:

⛳️ Golf Scramble
Friday, Sept. 12 | ~ 7:30AM
Lakeside Golf Course
3725 Richmond Rd. | Lexington, KY 40509

Tee times will be provided one week prior to the scramble. Winners and prizes will be announced at the Friday evening reception. All golfers will receive a sleeve of balls, snacks and bottled water in their cart, and coffee and donuts at registration. Alumni band members are welcome to invite non-band members to join them for the golf outing.

Join us for hors d’oeuvres, a dinner buffet and dessert during the program. A cash bar will be available. Parking will be located in Parking Structure #5 located at 409 S. Limestone.

Sectionals, rehearsal and game day meal at Shively Field before the kickoff for Eastern Michigan vs. Kentucky football game. Links to music for performers will be provided for each section in August.

It is with profound sadness we share that beloved band photographer for many years Chuck Perry has passed. Chuck was truly one of a kind, and will be dearly missed by the entire University of Kentucky Bands family.

Over his many decades with the band, Chuck captured thousands upon thousands of cherished memories and moments. The photo below was captured earlier this month at our summer rehearsal and we were so happy to be able to share the music with Chuck one last time.

We would like to extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Chuck's family and friends at this time. 💙

We had a BLAST yesterday at our summer rehearsal and picnic in preparation for reunion and the 2025-26 pep band season!

Thank you to the UK Alumni Association for hosting all of us in the King Alumni Building, and to the Alumni Band Board and volunteers for your time to set up and tear down. Also, special thanks Director of Athletic Bands Dr. Stahl, Director of Bands Dr. Birdwell, and Director of the School of Music Dr. Arnold for stopping by to talk with us!

Dust off the 'ole instrument, we're having another summer rehearsal on Saturday, July 12! 🎶

Prepare for the 2025-2026 Season by learning some new music as well as modern arrangements for some of our old standard pep band music. The music will be sent prior to rehearsal to those who have signed up via email, participants will need to bring their own copy. Lunch will be provided.

Rehearsal is from 9AM-3PM at the King Alumni House. Doors open at 8AM. Register by July 1 here -> bit.ly/4jauKtP
