Our third spotlight is on ✨ Katie Lawson. ✨

Katie Lawson creates layered acrylic and pastel paintings that depict solitary figures in domestic spaces, using texture, distortion, and expressive mark-making to reveal raw, often overlooked emotional narratives. Balancing tension with humor and irony, her work highlights the complexity of authentic human experience.

Katie's work is on view in Undercurrents at Staniar Gallery through April 10.

Check back for one more highlight soon!
