UKY Wildcat athletes brought home Au + Ag + Cu•Pb•Sn•Zn from the Paris Olympics. In a school-record performance, 11 Wildcats brought home 13 medals — nine gold, two silver and two bronze!

The University of Kentucky set a school record with 24 student-athletes, alumni and coaches in the Paris Olympics who represented nine countries across six sports in the Games. Eleven Wildcats won 13 medals — nine gold, two silver and two bronze.

People are doing chemistry with textiles without the 'chemistry of chromophores' but with great chemistry between people.

The intersection of art and science isn’t always obvious, but for a University of Kentucky art professor and a university horticulturalist, it was natural, and in more ways than one. The dye garden at The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky is what brought inspired their collaboration.
