On Wednesday, May 1, TUnity invites you to take a vow of silence to stand against discrimination and violence on the basis of: sexuality, gender identity and expression, race, religion, disability, and class.

Wear crimson to show support and gather in Haupt Plaza from 11am-1pm to participate in unified silence, or to learn more information. Then join us in Back Circle from 6-8pm to Break the Silence.

The World Voice series will present an evening of Indian music and dance featuring Lakshmi Sriraman on May 1st at 7:30 in Old Morrison Chapel.

Two free tickets per person will be available Monday-Friday, 1-4pm in MFA 113.

Other performers will include flautist G. S. Rajan, narrator Samuel Themer, cellist Suzanne McIntosh, and percussionist Tripp Bratton.

On Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on the third floor of Haupt, the foreign languages program is hosting an International Open House for all students interested in language, literature, culture, study abroad, diversity, and international careers. Join us to learn about major and minor programs, study abroad opportunities, internship opportunities, language clubs and honor societies, and careers abroad or requiring a foreign language. We also wish to especially honor all Transylvania international students, and invite everyone to join us for a convivial celebration of their presence on campus.
