Once upon a time, in a lab not far from mine, there lived an evil old Stratasys 3D printer. It's not there any more. After all, I did say it was evil, didn't I? However, when it was discarded some years ago, I got a couple of big boxes of filament that were bought for it. Some was white ABS, but most is the P400 Soluble Support material... brand new from 2012. So, we tried printing with it on our ANYCUBIC hoping it might be a good filament to do test-fit prints, etc. -- which it seems nobody else has done. It prints very crisply at 230C on a heated piece of blue painters tape. It is essentially like an acrylic, with the resulting parts quite stiff, and they either suffer layer separation or shatter when they break. They don't dissolve, nor even soften, in boiling water, but the material turns from dark brown to gray after exposure to hot water.
Anyway, since nobody else seems to have done much with this filament (one spool of which costs more new than the ANYCUBIC printer we used), I figured I'd report our findings here.
