The SCCC Concert band recognized "White Cane Awareness Day" Wednesday. Band students took part in some incredible hands-on activities to raise awareness and help others understand perspective. These activities included writing and reading participants’ own names in Braille.
Students also completed partner navigation drills, in which one student was blindfolded and was asked to trust their peer to guide them safely across campus. These activities helped everyone learn about inclusivity, accessibility, and the importance of tools like the white cane that empower independent travel.

Join SCCC HALO for “Widen Your Lens” a program/panel discussion focusing on career paths. The event is today at 2 p.m. in the RapidFit Showcase Theater on the SCCC campus. It is free and open to the public.

It was an awesome night! The Greenhouse turned into the Pinkhouse as the stands were packed and pinked out in recognition of breast cancer awareness month. The support was amazing and Seward County Volleyball used the energy en route to a victory over Cloud County. Thank you to all of our fans!
