Great news from Oklahoma City USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals! Jewell Powerlifting wrote its name in the history books with its first 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡, Gavin LaFleur!

Gavin went 9-for-9 on his lift attempts in the 75 kg (165 #) division and hit personal records in squat, bench and deadlift with a winning personal best total of 717.5 kg. This was the second Collegiate Nationals appearance for the sophomore from Floresville, Texas, and the second season for the team under Head Coach Sean Dunston, J.D.

Congrats to Autum Baughey (44 kg equipped) and Lawson Navarre (56 kg equipped) who each took the podium with 5th place. Jewell was well represented with these national qualifiers competing: Reaghan Bible, Amberlyn Hoeper, Destiny Leandro, Bailey O'Sullivan, Katelyn Padalecki, Sonya Zamora, Exodus Acevedo, Hayden Branson, Hunter Branson, Joseph Carpenter, Nick Kurtz and Tommy Penner.
