Round 2: Benjamin Ford (UNL Alum) will discuss sustainability and the roles of farmers, agricultural companies, and others in the supply chain as we consider how to form new partnerships in developing more sustainable systems. To feed the projected 9.7 billion people by 2050, and to do so while addressing increasing pressure on our water resources and climate will require the engagement of all stakeholders in the food production chain.
Round 3: Adam Whitacre (UNL Alum) will talk about the transition from college to work life and beyond. He will discuss how to leverage your college education, student networks, and leadership experience to land a job in agriculture and succeed in the real world.
