And with that, the 2026 E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues season comes to a close.

We were honored to have Shaylyn Romney Garrett as the closing speaker for this year’s E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues.

Through her talk, “America’s Upswing,” Romney Garrett challenged us to think deeply about polarization, connection, and what it means to rebuild a culture of “we.” Her message, grounded in history, research, and hope, left us inspired to strengthen the social fabric in our own communities.

We appreciate her time, insight, and meaningful contribution to our community.
