MBSA mission statement: The Multicultural Business Student Association (MBSA) concentrates on diversity and job placement. MBSA provides students with the opportunity to meet other students from all different backgrounds, interact with business leaders through carefully chosen topics, and acquire needed skills to develop themselves professionally and personally. The organization is proud to collab

orate with Career Services to coordinate the Professional Networking Reception annually, expose its members and students throughout the university to internships as well as part-time/full-time employment. Members of this organization will be able to:

• Develop and practice leadership skills
• Gain business connections
• Attend social and networking events
• Participate in business tours

Hey friends! I'm Jess Nguyen, and I have been the Public Relations Chair this past semester. I'm from Omaha and am majoring in Marketing with an emphasis in Advertising and minoring in Economics and Global Leadership. I joined MBSA because I want to personally get to know diverse people and use marketing and digital platforms to share their stories. A fun fact about myself is that my left leg is longer than my right. It has been an amazing experience working as the PR Chair, and I look forward in further promoting MBSA as next year's President.

Our Fundraising Chair is Veronica Pratt. She is from Houston, Texas and is majoring in Economics. Veronica thinks diversity is important because it gives you a chance to learn about a new culture and yourself. It also prepares you for the real world; you won't encounter people that are all the same. She has set her sights on becoming an attorney and going into international law. Veronica has been, by far, our highest commissioned salesperson at our fundraising events, and we will miss her immensely as she continues her journey at the University of Alabama next year.

Our Secretary, Cori Bolte, is from York, NE. She is a Management major with a minor in Marketing. Cori believes diversity is important because without it we wouldn't be able to meet new people, get new ideas, or have new experiences.
