Everyone, its that time of year... Banquet Season!!! The Big Red Chapter, however, does things a little different. Our banquets are event focused.

We have trap and sporting clays!!

Sign up and compete with others who enjoy the outdoors. Lunch is included for all who register. Tickets for raffle prizes will be handed out at check in as well as available for purchase. We will also be holding a separate raffle for a Henry Golden Boy .22 Mag. (PF Edition) which we will pick a winner at a later date.

We have decided to do another round of orders for our 2020 chapter shirt. The shirts will be delivered to our chapter and we will work to get them handed out when they are finished. The shirts turned out awesome and are a great way to support the university and Pheasants Forever!

Meet our new treasurer Dan Petersen! Dan is currently a sophomore majoring in Agriculture Economics with a minor in Agronomy. "Hello! My name is Dan Petersen, and I am the new treasurer for the UNL Big Red Pheasants Forever chapter! I am a sophomore originally from Ruskin Nebraska. I enjoy hunting, working, and hanging out with friends. I am looking forward to what this coming year has in store for our chapter and and spending time with all of the other members!"

Next up on our executive board introductions is our Vice President, Austin Kennedy! Austin is a sophomore Pre-Vet student who is also majoring in Conservation Biology! "I am just a guy from Omaha who enjoys the outdoors and wildlife. My favorite type of hunting is for deer. I am looking forward to hunting with the people I have met in the PF club and just having fun with the friends I made last year."

We recently had the opportunity to select new executive board members! First up is our President, Chad Guthrie! Chad is a junior here at UNL majoring in Agronomy with a minor in Grazing Livestock Systems. "I grew up in Holdrege, Nebraska, where my dad taught me how to hunt and fish as a little boy. Because of my dad, I developed a real passion for the outdoors and spent most of my high school years hunting, fishing, and trapping with friends and family. Growing up around Holdrege, a heavily farmed area, I have realized the importance of habitat management. This is what has drawn me to be active in Pheasants Forever, where I will begin my first term as president this year."
