Kappa Delta is a sorority committed to providing experiences and opportunities to its members that inspire them to greatness.

Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta was founded at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln on April 10, 1920. We pride ourselves in succeeding in our five areas of chapter excellence: academic excellence, social success, philanthropy, leadership, and membership. Our philanthropies, KD Quesadillas and Chilifest, raise money for CEDARS and Prevent Child Abuse America, and we work with local Girl Scout troops. S

“Coming into college as an out of state student, I was really nervous about not knowing anyone and being so far from home, but when I joined Kappa Delta, I found those friends who made it feel like home. I never expected to find so many girls who share my same humor and interests, and I know they’ll always have my back and support me through anything. It’s truly a home away from home and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. All the girls in Kappa Delta have truly been what makes Kappa Delta feel like home, but it wouldn’t be Kappa Delta without Abby, Lauren, and Jaclynn, who have helped me grow as a person and showed me how to be confident. I can always be my authentic self around them and it’s always reciprocated, and I truly don’t know where I would be without them. I realized Kappa Delta was where I belonged during work week when a huge group of us would get together and watch TV at night because it felt like such a genuine community. The more I got to know these girls, the more I loved them, and sisterhood in Kappa Delta has come to mean lifelong friendship where no matter how much time passes, it always feels like no time has gone by. The women of Kappa Delta are genuine and confident, nobody has to put on a mask or be someone they aren’t, every personality is different but we all fit together, and of course it wouldn’t be Kappa Delta without endless laughter.”

This we are so excited to introduce our Vice President of Events and Programming, Kaylee Natho 🫶💚

Kaylee is a member of PC ’23 and is a junior from Bennington, Nebraska, studying Biological Sciences on the Pre-Med track. We are so lucky to have someone as passionate and driven as Kaylee leading our philanthropy and community service efforts. Here is a message from our Vice President of Events and Programming:

“It has been so amazing being able to dive into our philanthropies and to meet with the organizations that we support through our efforts. I’ve also loved having the opportunity to connect our members with community service opportunities so that our chapter can make an impact on our community.”

As Vice President of Events and Programming, Kaylee oversees our chapter’s community service involvement and philanthropy events while also planning fun experiences like Formals, Confidence Week, and Family Weekend! Through this position, she has grown even closer to both our chapter and our community, and it even inspired her to start her own non-profit initiative this semester 💚✨

This spring, our annual KD Quesadillas event welcomed over 500 guests and raised more than $10,000 for our philanthropy, an incredible reflection of Kaylee’s dedication and leadership! We are so grateful for everything she does for our chapter every single day. We love you, Kaylee! 🫶
