Thank you to all the brave men and women who have served our country, past and present.
Thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you for the years spent away from your loved ones. Thank you for returning home and braving the struggles of PTSD and other illnesses related. Thank you for all the things my civilian mind cannot comprehend. In the ends words are not enough to say Thank You, but I can only hope we as a country continue to remember the sacrifices made from our veterans, and show the love, admiration, respect and appreciation that they so deeply deserve.

When/if you see a Veteran today, shake their hand and thank them. They deserve it.

To those in the group who have/ are serving, thank you.

Thank you to all who donated to our Food Drive this past week!!
We ended up collecting enough food/ house hold items to fill four boxes!!

Best part of it all, the pantry was already full, so they’re going to use our food later on as it begins to empty.

We are grateful for these Veterans past service, and I am happy we were able to help out a little bit!!

Thank you all and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

The results of the 1st Homeless Veteran Food Drive Competition between the SCC Student Veteran Org. and the NWU Student Veteran Org. are in: SCC had 697 pounds and NWU had 1132 pounds! Great job to both campuses showing outstanding support for our struggling service members! Food items were delivered to the homeless veteran food pantry at the Lincoln VA hospital and the food pantry located in the Victory Park apartments that house struggling veterans. Thank you to the students and staff at Southeast Community College and Nebraska Wesleyan University!!!!

The trophy goes to the Biology department with 957pounds of food out of the 1816 total pounds collected! Great job everyone at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Your department will have a chance to steal this trophy next semester!!!

Thank you to all who helped make this our biggest donation to the Homeless Veteran Food Pantry at the Lincoln VA Hospital!!!! You have provided 1,603 pounds of food to needy veterans and their families! Last semester brought in 940 pounds, Nebraska Wesleyan University you outdid yourselves by 663 pounds!!!!!
