Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 and proudly holds the title of the first-ever Greek letter fraternity known among women. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience, and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual and moral growth as she meets the higher and broader demands of mature life. Members o

f Rho strive for the highest scholarship and the widest influence for betterment throughout our community. We are involved in activities throughout the Lincoln community, on campus, and within our own chapter. We have traveled the world through study abroad programs, created connections with business leaders through internships, and held leadership positions in many organizations on campus. Rho Thetas keep their schedules busy, but always find time to strengthen our sisterhood and have fun.
