This spring's largest-to-date wildfire in Nebraska was created by “perfect storm” conditions, says University of Nebraska-Lincoln expert and University of Nebraska Public Policy Center faculty fellow, Dirac Twidwell.

Recovery efforts are ongoing through the Nebraska Strong Recovery Project. In partnership with University of Nebraska Public Policy Center, Behavioral Health Regions 1 & 2 (in the Panhandle and Central) are at the forefront of offering project resources.
