UNL Multicultural Greek Council This group is dedicated to the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We Xi Chapter of Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority Inc. (UNL Colony)

The purpose of the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln shall be: to create and maintain high academic, moral and social standards for member organizations of MGC by addressing, coordinating, and developing strategic action plans; unify organizations; promote higher education; provide community services; enhance leadership. Meet Jason Delgado
We are proud to highlight another member of our community and the journey that led him to the Multicultural Greek Council. MGC continues to be a space where diversity is embraced and individuals are able to find a sense of belonging within a supportive and empowering community.
Through MGC, members are able to connect with people from different backgrounds while building meaningful relationships rooted in shared values and experiences. It is more than just involvement, it is about finding a place that feels like home, uplifting one another, and growing together through culture and community.

MGC Week really did what it needed to do ✨✨
From day one to the last event, this week was full of energy, unity, and so many moments that reminded us why our council is so special. Every chapter showed up, showed out, and brought something unique to the table. Whether you came to one event or all of them, you were part of something bigger than yourself.
This week wasn’t just about activities, it was about community. About celebrating culture, building connections, and creating memories that we’ll carry with us long after the week ended.

This month we are proud to highlight a leader who continues to show up, lead with intention, and make a lasting impact within MGC. Yuliana Alvarez exemplifies what it means to be dedicated, dependable, and community driven. Her ability to balance leadership, collaboration, and responsibility speaks volumes about the kind of influence she brings to our council.
She is someone who not only gets things done, but also creates space for others to feel supported and involved along the way. The impact she makes is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated across MGC.
