We are devastated to learn of the passing of our former beloved college President, Dr. David Gerlach. Dr. Gerlach was an amazing leader, mentor, educator and friend. He was inducted as our first Honorary member during our first Induction ceremony and was instrumental in our founding and growth as a leading organization at Lincoln College.

He had an amazing connection with faculty, staff and especially students whom most had their own handshake with him. He greeted everyone, stranger or not with his big smile and was always helpful and opened his office to anyone who needed him.

This is devasting to hear that both our honorary members have passed within a week of each other. We are praying for his lovely wife and kids.

Rest in Power to one of our Honorary Gents Sir. Dr. Bill Gosset 💜🦅 who was inducted and given this honor October 2, 2021 during Class 10 ceremony. We decided the theme of this ceremony to honor your service to our city, state and country...Mission imPossible!

What an honor it was to know you and encounter all of what you represented and did for our organization and Lincoln College. You will forever be missed... March on soilder, WE SALUTE YOU 🫡

The Day is not over …

Happy Founders Day to our great organization!! 6 years ago on Wednesday, August 23rd at 3:15pm, The Gents Male Mentoring Organization was founded on the campus of Lincoln College. Over these past years, we reflect on the impact rhat we’ve had in Lincoln, IL and in our communities. We are grateful for all of our members and the vision of our Founding Gents which continues to live through our mission of”Transforming Boys into Men and Men into Better Men”.

Brian has been found and has now made contact with family and friends. Our Advisor personally spoke to him and his mother moments ago and confirms his well being.

It’s been a while since you all have beard from us. Through the transition from Lincoln College to Eureka College, we have faced some challenges for sure.

However, we must highlight this Gent brother here Devone of Class 3. He wanted to keep our tradition alive adopting a classroom and giving toys during the holiday season. This time, the school was located in Chicago. He accomplished this by himself along with his girlfriend. He collected donations of brand new toys, wrapped them and delivered them.

Wow! Thank you Devone for representing this organization and keeping our “Adopt-a-Classroom” tradition alive! You are a true testament of the values of our organization
