🌸 Flowers & Friends was a blooming success! 🌸

Today, our 4-H'ers learned all about floral arrangements and cut flowers. They had the opportunity to explore the basics of floral design and then put their creativity to work by creating their very own flower arrangements!

A special thank you to Miss Aubrey Welch, a student at UGA, for sharing her knowledge and passion for floral design with our group. Aubrey has been involved in floral design classes and has discovered a true love for working with flowers. We appreciate her taking the time to teach and inspire our 4-H'ers!

We also collected canned goods and non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Lincoln County Food Pantry this week. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped support families in our community. Your generosity is making a difference!

🌼 Learning, creating, and giving back — that's what 4-H is all about! 🌼

What a fun Friday at Lake Dayz & Sun Rayz! ☀️🌊⛳🍦

Our 4-H'ers had an amazing day enjoying the lake, playing putt-putt, cooling off with ice cream, and making lots of new friends along the way. Summer is always better when it's spent outdoors having fun and building friendships!

We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner with Wilkes County 4-H for this event each year. It’s always a great experience to bring our counties together, allowing youth to connect, make memories, and enjoy the best parts of summer.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fantastic day at the lake! We can't wait for more summer fun ahead! 💚🍀

This past week, Lincoln County Extension was proud to be a part of the Lincoln/Wilkes Farm Safety Camp! 🚜☀️

Students spent the day learning valuable safety skills through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Topics included fire safety, gun safety, bus safety, boating safety, electrical safety, lawn mower safety, and first aid. Participants also had the opportunity to see fascinating reptiles and birds of prey up close!

It was a great day filled with learning, fun, and important lessons that will help keep our youth safe both on and off the farm.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to the students who came ready to learn! 💚🍀

Last night, we had the opportunity to recognize our incredible 4-H’ers who have represented Lincoln County 4-H in competitions and events throughout the year. It was a special evening celebrating their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.
Watching these students grow, challenge themselves, and step outside their comfort zones has been so rewarding. I can’t wait to see this group continue to flourish in their next chapter while staying involved in 4-H and all the opportunities it has to offer. We are so proud of each and every one of them! 💚🍀

This weekend, we celebrated our Lincoln County 4-H Shotgun Team with an awards ceremony and Family Fun Day Shoot! It was a great day spent recognizing a season full of hard work, dedication, growth, and success.

A huge thank you goes out to our volunteer coaches who invest so much time and effort into these athletes and help make this program possible. We are also so grateful for the families who have supported our team all season long—your encouragement and commitment means so much.
