The pitch was picture perfect for the KC World Cup opener.

State Tech - Commercial Turf & Grounds Management alumni, Tyler Gosney is adding the 2026 FIFA World Cup to his growing list of accomplishments. After earning three Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs, he's now helping prepare Arrowhead Stadium for one of the world's biggest sporting events. Nice work Tyler!

Kayden is interning at Mizzou Athletics this summer. There are two other grads taking care of the Mizzou athletic fields!

Took a visit to Chicago to see Mitchell Palmer who is doing an internship with the Chicago Cubs. It’s amazing that the stadium has been around since 1914. It’s always nice to see students thriving on a big stage.

Intern Ty at Ryan Lawn & Tree was on an irrigation rotation when we stopped in this week making a quick fix to a residential system.

Interns Kellen and Brody helped deploy the new robotic mower at Dub’s Dread Golf Club.

The mower was on its second-ever run at the course so they were learning the system.
