Homecoming Weekend reminded us what makes Benedictine University special. Our people. From reunion celebrations and leadership workshops to cheering at the game, generations came together to celebrate what it means to be a BenU alum.

At this year's Alumni Achievement Awards, we proudly celebrated three exceptional Benedictine University graduates whose leadership and achievements embody the spirit of our community.

From Reenie Baidya, ‘19, a rising scientist agent in the field of forensic science, to Daniel Laspisa, ‘13, an environmental leader shaping a more sustainable future, to Daniel Hebreard, ‘07, a dedicated public servant whose leadership as President of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County perfectly reflects the values of a Benedictine education.
Their journeys remind us what it means to lead with purpose and passion.

Benedictine University's Mesa campus welcomes back two of its own alumni Madison Kindle, MS, '18 and Grant DeGrasse, MA, 21' to lead the Redhawks Volleyball programs.🏐

Kindle now serves as Head Coach of the Women's Volleyball team, while DeGrasse steps in as Head Coach for the Men's team. Together they represent a new era of leadership, with two former players now taking charge of the programs they helped build.
