There’s something special about Homecoming weekend at Benedictine University.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, Eagles will come together for a day of old friends, familiar places, and plenty of BenU pride. This year, we’re also proud to welcome back and recognize the Class of ’76 as our Golden Eagles and the Class of ’01 as our Silver Eagles.

At this year's Alumni Achievement Awards, we proudly celebrated three exceptional Benedictine University graduates whose leadership and achievements embody the spirit of our community.

From Reenie Baidya, ‘19, a rising scientist agent in the field of forensic science, to Daniel Laspisa, ‘13, an environmental leader shaping a more sustainable future, to Daniel Hebreard, ‘07, a dedicated public servant whose leadership as President of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County perfectly reflects the values of a Benedictine education.
Their journeys remind us what it means to lead with purpose and passion.

Benedictine University's Mesa campus welcomes back two of its own alumni Madison Kindle, MS, '18 and Grant DeGrasse, MA, 21' to lead the Redhawks Volleyball programs.🏐

Kindle now serves as Head Coach of the Women's Volleyball team, while DeGrasse steps in as Head Coach for the Men's team. Together they represent a new era of leadership, with two former players now taking charge of the programs they helped build.
