A Note About The Author…
I am the mom of fraternal twins who graduated in the top 10% of their graduating class of 750 students in May of 2022. They worked hard, took school seriously, and were admitted to the University of Florida, Florida State University, the University of Miami, Clemson University, and Berklee College of Music, to name just a few.
When we began the daunting task of college related research, we were OVERWHELMED! Yes, there was information on every possible subject, but all I wanted was one guidebook where I could find the information I was looking for in chronological order, in ONE PLACE!
My niece is currently a rising senior, and I created an email for her and my sister-in-law with all of the information I had amassed, including links to apps, websites, and podcasts my kids used and found especially useful and/or helpful. I also included the resumes my girls created, as well as their Common App Personal Statement Essays for my niece to use as a guide. When my sister-in-law received the email, she exclaimed, “People would pay good money for this!
After some homegrown market research, her sentiments were enthusiastically confirmed, and so I went to work on making an easy-to-follow guidebook for you!
I want to be very clear. I AM NOT SELLING RESULTS! I am a Mom. I am not a professional college placement counselor, teacher, or tutor. When it comes to students, one size does not fit all. I do not ensure that by reading my guidebook, your child will be guaranteed admission to the colleges they apply to; that is not what this guidebook is for.
Time has become our most valuable commodity. My goal is to help people save hours and hours of their precious time by offering the information I have accumulated in an easy-to-follow guidebook. An “all-in-one place” document you can turn to for help and information when you need it. And you will need it!
I genuinely wish you and your family the best of luck on your journey.
