Today, EMU aviation students had the opportunity to hear from Alfred Hayward, Recruiter for Flight Operations with Piedmont Airlines, and Bradley Frisbie, Captain at Piedmont Airlines, part of the American Airlines Group.

They shared insights on career pathways in commercial aviation and opportunities through the Piedmont Cadet Program, which helps pilots build flight hours and transition from training to regional airline operations—with a potential pathway to American Airlines.

Several EMU aviation students are already involved in the program as Piedmont Ambassadors and Cadets, providing them with early connections to the airline industry.

Experiences like this connect EMU students directly with the professionals and opportunities shaping the future of aviation.
