Walton College Opens Executive Education Center in Little Rock

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Sam M. Walton College of Business opened its Executive Education Center in Little Rock on Friday, Oct. 12, to support industry and business leaders in Central Arkansas. The center offers industry expert speaker series, professional development seminars and business solution programs to professionals in the health and wellness, finance and banking and supply chain management industries.

“Walton College strives to strengthen business throughout the state by encouraging intellectual curiosity, thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit,” said Matthew Waller, dean of the Walton College. “This new center will allow us to reach more business leaders, become a platform for exchanging ideas, spark collaborations and find business solutions.”

“As a land grant institution, we want to partner with the state’s business leaders as a resource and change maker to help drive industry in Central Arkansas,” said Brent Williams, associate dean of Executive Education and Outreach. “We are exceptionally proud of our upcoming programs, seminars and workshops.”

Walton Executive Education hosts seminars, programs and courses focused on health and wellness, finance and banking, supply chain management, leadership and innovation in both Little Rock and Fayetteville. Its programs include Finance for Non-financial Managers, Blockchain Fundamentals, Innovate 2 Lead, Supply Chain Foundations, Front-Line Management Skills, Strategic Leadership Development, Public Speaking Skills, Forecasting with Sales Data, Strategic Sourcing and the Basics of Business Communications. The center also tailors custom programs specific to a company’s needs.
