Love the subject, hate the background? Yeah… we’ve all been there 😅

It’s Try It Tuesday, and today we’re showing you how to break up with that ugly background in Adobe Photoshop 💔✨
Whether it’s a messy dorm, random photobombers, or vibes that just aren’t it—we got you.

Because let’s be honest:
Your pics deserve main character energy, not “why is there a trash can back there?” energy.

Try it TUEday with your dream summer vacay spot and tag us!

Meet Josie Rolier — IMC Track: Multi-Dimensional Interior Design

🎓 After graduation, Josie plans to attend graduate school to earn her master’s degree while working with Institutional Advancement at the University of West Alabama. She hopes to continue growing her experience in marketing, communications, and brand development while furthering her education. ✨

🎓 One of Josie’s favorite IMC memories was building one of the best friendships she’s ever had through the program — a connection she says she would have never made without IMC and one that brought countless meaningful memories and experiences. 💛

🎓 Josie’s advice for younger IMC students: “Don’t be afraid to talk. It took me a long time to feel comfortable speaking in class, talking with professors, or connecting with other students because I’ve always been very shy. Getting out of your shell is so important, and you’ll quickly learn that the amazing IMC professors won’t let you stay quiet for long and will help you find your voice.”

🎉 Congratulations, Josie! We are so excited to see all you accomplish in graduate school and beyond. 👏🎉

🎓 Meet Avery Emory — IMC Track: Interior Design

🎓 During her time in the IMC program, Avery brought creativity, humor, and personality to every class and experience. From all of her unforgettable classroom moments, she made memories and friendships that will last far beyond graduation. ✨

🎓 After graduation, Avery plans to pursue a career in sales while traveling and exploring as much as possible along the way.

🎓 Her favorite IMC memory? Interviewing her best friend Wesley in Writing for Mass Media — a moment she says was unforgettable and probably the reason Wesley won’t be interviewed again anytime soon. 😂

🎓 Avery’s favorite class was AutoCAD, where she was able to combine creativity with design skills. She also wishes she had taken more music classes during her time at IMC.

🎓 She would like to give a special thank you to Audrey and Katie for always keeping her on track, supporting her through everything, and listening to all of her long stories — even if they claimed they didn’t enjoy them. 💛

🎓 Avery’s advice for younger IMC students: “Don’t stress about performance reviews. They seem scary, but they’re really a chance to show what you’ve accomplished and get advice on how to improve. Plus, they don’t affect your grade, so don’t waste your time stressing or crying over them!”

🎉 Congratulations, Avery! We can’t wait to see where life takes you next. 👏🎉
