⚠️ Federal Work-Study is a need-based program with limited federal funding. Eligibility is based on your financial need (as determined by your FAFSA) and the funds available — so don’t wait to check it out!

📌 Students must be awarded Federal Work-Study first before applying or seeking jobs with departments that are hiring.

✅ Must have a processed 2025-2026 FAFSA
✅ 2.0 GPA or higher
✅ Enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)

Today we honor the solemn significance of 9/11. As we remember the lives tragically lost, we also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the heroes who selflessly serve our nation.

For a moment of silent reflection in remembrance of the tragedy that struck the United States of America on September 11, 2001, UWA’s McConnell Chimes will toll six times at 9:28 a.m. (cst) on Thursday, September 11, representing six significant events of that day:

8:46 a.m. - American Flight 11 crashes into Tower 1 (North Tower)

9:03 a.m. - United Flight 175 crashes into Tower 2 (South Tower)

9:37 a.m. - American Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon

9:59 a.m. - South tower collapses

10:03 a.m. - United Flight 93 crashes in a field outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania

10:28 a.m. - North tower collapses
