ATTENTION UWA STUDENTS and RECENT GRADUATES WITH DISABILITIES.

UWA students and recent graduates with disabilities are invited to participate in a career development workshop hosted by the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) staff, along with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The session will cover best practices for creating a strong two-page resume and tips for navigating the USAJOBS platform.

This workshop will strengthen your WRP application materials to prepare you for federal internship and job opportunities! Each session will cover the same information, so you can choose the time that works best for you.

The UAB AmeriCorps program is a year-long service and leadership program that provides opportunities to create and sustain effective, mutually beneficial collaborations with the Birmingham area and rural communities in the Black Belt region of Alabama. Our VISTA program aligns primarily with economic development, education, food security, and public health.
